Robin Cass @ Shift Collaborative: The odd and novel objects of fascination

Robin Cass glass sculptor: the oddness of nature

Robin Cass engages with nature itself to find inspiration for her work–the odd and curious aspects of nature, of which there is plenty.  In her new show which opens at Shift Collaborative Studio in Seattle June 2, reception 5:30-8pm, she displays a fascination with our inclination to gather “curiosities,” an urge exemplified by the “WunderKammer” or cabinet of curiosities of Renaissance Europe.

She creates her own curiosities that are lovely and strange and compelling…The oddities of the imaginative landscape are on display, drop by this First Thursday in Pioneer Square.
