Up Next @ Shift Collaborative: Susan Gans and David Traylor

Treat your eyes and imagination to new works by Susan Gans and David Traylor–their collaborative show opens with an artist reception April 5th, at 5 pm (that’s First Thursday, and there’s just not much better than an Art Walk downtown in spring).

Susan Gans and David Traylor present two interesting perspectives on place–contemplations that result in some very intriguing views from Micro to Macro.

Gans’ photos are juxtaposed in curious ways to evoke the complexity of urban life and nature around us.  Traylor’s color field paintings convey a sense of intimacy and painstaking detail even as they take on the vastness and grandeur of landscape.

Take a gander–we look forward to seeing you First Thursday downtown, Pioneer Square, 5-8pm, April 5th.  We’re in the Tashiro Kaplan building on Washington–just follow the crowds upstairs at 306 S. Washington, we’ll see you there!
