Shift Collaborative Studio is pleased to present an engaging show of nature in April for your contemplation:
Adele Eustis‘ new show Issue reveals a world illuminated from within. Around these cocoon-like structures are silk, wire, bent wood branches, jute and wax forming an intriguing grid of flowing lines. These nests are something to behold. In a recent show in Tacoma, her sculptural pieces were highlighted as “a marvel to look at” and thoroughly enjoy.
Cass Nevada‘s new work explores the energy of nature through line and motion–a perfect companion to Spring. Release explores irruptions of energy as seen in murmurations, swarms, waves, and storms, using sumi and acrylic inks, wax, and natural pigments on salvaged hydrographic maps from the 1940s.
